How To Install XAPK, APKM, OBB, Zip, APKs Files on Android? Detailed Guide!

In the early Android versions, we only cared about how to install apk files because this extension was the only one for games and apps at the time. Now, Android OS has evolved, so have the games to the point that some of them have reached big sizes of more than 6GB!

So, as a solution to these huge game sizes, Google has created a new extension for it which is XAPK. Files with this extension are a bundle of files in a single file, usually with the entire game files in it (apk file + obb file + data folder if present + sometimes patch file which also has obb extension).

So, have you recently downloaded an xapk game and are looking for an installation method? Then follow these steps:

1. Download the game you want to install with xapk extension.
2. Download the installer file from here: APKCombo Installer .
3. Open the app on your phone.
   
4. Click on the Install button .
   
5. Allow access to phone memory.
   
6. Choose the file you want to install among the extensions (apk, .obb, .zip, .xapk, .apkm, .apks) and click on the OK button .
   
7. Click on the Install button  .
   
8. Click the Allow button when the Google Play Protect message appears.
   
9. Click the OPEN button to launch the app or game after installation.
   

How to install games after downloading separate apk + obb + patch files:

1. Download apk & obb files and also Patch if it is included in the game contents.
2. Download the installer file from here: APKCombo Installer .
3. Open the app on your phone.
   
4. Go to the Install option .
   
5. Allow access to phone memory.
   
6. From here choose the game files apk + obb and also the patch file in case it was among the contents and then press the OK button .
   
7. Click the Install button.
   
8. Finally, after the installation is complete, click on the OPEN button .
   

1. Download the game files to your phone (apk + obb).
2. First install the apk file.
3. Using a file manager (I recommend ES File Explorer ) do the following:
4. Move the “obb” folder to the “android/obb” folder in the main storage path.
5. Play the game.
